Why a box, not an app
Vantage Home runs on your family's own private instance, and you control it — not a shared account in someone else's cloud. Run it on your own hardware, or on a private cloud server your family owns — we set either one up with you. Either way it runs alone, for one family.
Children's conversations run on the box's own model. There is no setting that sends them anywhere else — the plumbing doesn't exist, and every release is tested to keep it that way.
Adults can switch their own assistant to a stronger model contracted to keep no logs — and switch back anytime. The kids can't reach it, by design.
The box only installs releases it can verify were signed by us, refuses anything older than what it runs, and asks a parent before new features switch on.
Money, signatures and payment details are simply outside what it's able to do. Anything with consequences waits for a parent's tap.
